Inverted Hirbawi® Kufiya
$50.00
Inspired by a chance moment, Abu Mohammad Hirbawi, one of the original Hirbawi brothers, discovered an old film negative where the colors of a classic black and white Kufiya appeared reversed. This discovery sparked the creation of the Inverted Black and White Keffiyeh, featuring a bold black base with a striking white pattern. Handcrafted in Palestine at the last remaining Kufiya factory, this design blends tradition with innovation, honoring Palestinian identity while offering a modern, eye-catching twist on the timeless classic. Perfect for those seeking an authentic, ethically made Palestinian keffiyeh with a distinctive look and powerful cultural meaning.

ABOUT HIRBAWI®
Since 1961, the Hirbawi® factory has preserved the authentic Palestinian Kufiya, supporting local artisans and ethical trade while safeguarding a powerful symbol of cultural identity and resilience.
The Keffiyeh — or “Kufiya,” as it’s called in Palestine — remains a powerful symbol of resistance, resilience, and freedom. Each Hirbawi Keffiyeh is meticulously handcrafted using a time-honored cross-stitch weaving technique passed down through generations. Made with two layers — the base and the intricate “flower” (وردة) pattern — it combines tradition with functionality: keeping you cool under the sun, protecting against dust and wind, and wicking away moisture with ease. Today, the Keffiyeh continues to evolve, available in a range of colors and patterns inspired by Palestinian heritage, historic landmarks, and the timeless designs that have come to represent a nation’s enduring spirit.
